COMPENSATION GUIDELINES FOR 2009-2010The Executive Board of the Atlanta Chapter endorses the following statements: 1. Benefits include vacation, sick leave, professional leave, social security, health care, music or books, dues to professional organizations, and continuing education. Part-time employees with no benefits should receive 10% more than guidelines. The following are recommended BASE salaries.
3. Suggested fees for wedding related activities
4. The suggested fee range for funerals is $100-$225. When the funeral service takes on the demands of a regular service, with or without additional rehearsals, the fee guidelines in #2 above should be used. Funeral homes often include music in their overall fee; please inquire. 5. A contract should document the interests of both parties. A job description represents only one side. 6. The AGO has detailed steps to take when ethics are violated. The musician must initiate the process with AGO. 7. Faulty relationships bring about more job terminations than faulty skills. |
