As we approach the 75th anniversary of the death of Louis Vierne in 2012, we’ll enjoy a lecture on Louis Vierne: the Man and His Music – The fascinating and tragic life story of Vierne,
including a discussion of the performance problems in his music as well as that of his teachers Franck, Widor, and Guilmant, his colleague Tournemire, and his students Dupré and Duruflé. Opportunity for individuals who wish to perform for Ms. Soderlund will be available. Bryan is the 2011 winner of the Region IV RCYO competition. Briarlake Baptist Church
