Send Me to Heaven, David Gawthrop, Dunstan House.

David Gawthrop is at National Public Radio in Washington, DC, and his wife wrote the moving text to this choral piece. It is through-composed and is one of the most beautiful pieces I have heard in a long time. It is recorded on a CD entitled "Alleluia, An American Hymnal", performed by the Kansas City Chorale, Charles Bruffy, director.

It could be used at a funeral, perhaps on All Saints, and for any special service at which silent meditation is included. The text is very introspective.
