Johns Creek United Methodist Church
11180 Medlock Bridge Road
Johns Creek, Georgia 30097
Visit Web SiteThe proposed new organ for Johns Creek UMC was originally installed at Trinity Church (Episcopal), Wall Street, New York City. Following the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001, the Aeolian-Skinner organ was deemed unusable. In 2003, the organ was removed and placed in storage.
In 2011, Trinity Church donated the organ to Johns Creek UMC who plan to have the organ renovated and installed in their new church. The specifications below are of the instrument at the time of its removal.
The Atlanta Chapter of the AGO is grateful to the New York City Chapter for providing this information. Visit the New York AGO for a complete historical description.
