About Us

The Atlanta Chapter of the American Guild of Organists

Since 1896, the American Guild of Organists has been advancing the art of organ and choral music. The American Guild of Organists was formed to foster a passion for organ and choral music, to promote the development of high musical standards and to promote the use of organ and choral music in concerts as well as liturgical events.

The American Guild of Organists has more than 15,000 members across a network of organizations serving nine distinct geographic regions. The Atlanta Guild of Organists was the first regional chapter in the state of Georgia, and is one of the nation’s largest AGO Chapters.

Since 1914, the Atlanta Chapter of the American Guild of Organists has built a strong community of local musicians passionate about organ and choral music. We serve our members and the public with local events and education throughout the Atlanta area.
