About

The world-renowned Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Chorus perform a concert-hall rarity, J. S. Bach’s breathtaking and devotional Cantata No. 150. Music Director Nathalie Stutzmann pairs the work with the music it inspired, Johannes Brahms’s Romantic and roiling Fourth Symphony. In between, the Siberian virtuoso Pavel Kolesnikov, “poet of the keyboard” (The Guardian), plays one of the all-time greatest hits of the instrument, the fiery Piano Concerto by Edvard Grieg.
