Organist & music director for 220 avg. weekly attendance suburban Atlanta church. Fifteen (15) hours per week (which includes 3 hours of weekly choir practice, 5 hours worship time each Sunday, and 7 hours of personal practice time and planning/administration.) Responsibilities include planning and preparation of appropriate organ and choral music for two weekly Sunday morning services. Existing choir program includes adult choir, handbells, and youth choir. Total enrollment in music and fine arts programs is currently 20. The organ is an Allen 44 Stop Renaissance Digital Organ (WT-25) purchased and installed in 2002. Candidate should have minimum bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred) in music, supervisory skills, and team-effort approach to worship planning (meeting weekly with liturgy planning group.)
